Fireflies

         "Crack!  Rrrrrip! "
"What was that!?" I screamed, as I looked down and saw that a branch ripped the skin of my leg off.
"Are you ok?" my friend asked, looking terrified at my leg,
An hour ago we were walking along a trail in the forest and decided to explore a path that was off the map.  We knew the way back out, but it was too dark to see anything.
"Where are the bandages?" I asked.
      "We didn't bring any."
Suddenly, as if they could hear us, thousands of fireflies came carrying a piece of silk cloth.
We used it as a bandage as they lit our way to safety.

Breaking News

"Breaking news!  If you haven't already noticed, the rumors that the sun has turned purple are true, and scientists everywhere are extremely frightened.  We will have more on this story as it develops."
I turned off the TV and laughed, the whole world knew about the sun.  It was bright purple, turned the sky pink,  and was twice as big a usual, even though it was farther away.   It made the world colder, and everything in its mysterious sunshine  turned to ice.
I looked out the window and almost fell when I saw 3 huge creatures fly out of the sun.  They flew up to my window and stared at me...

The Broken Lock

"Hello? 911?" I asked, glancing around nervously.
"Yes, what's the emergency?" a woman's voice answered.
"Someone broke into my house!  The lock on my front door is broken and I hear someone running around upstairs."
"Where..." I heard a ringing sound and gasped in horror as I looked up to see a tall, smiling man holding a pair of scissors and a broken phone wire.
I screamed and tried to run away, but the man grabbed my arm.  I pulled it away and sprinted out the door, only to see a hooded person with a hammer in my drive way..

Can You Figure Out the Ending?

"I was framed!" I screamed, trying to escape from the guards painful grip.
"Then why was your name on the wall beside the body?" He asked and unlocked a cell.
I never got a chance to tell him that the doctor (in the same building as us) who committed the crime spray painted my name on a wall to frame me because before I could say anything, he shoved me inside, locked it and walked away.
I looked around the cell and even though I hated the fact that I was in  Alcatraz, I smiled. There was a stapler, a painting with a nail stuck in it, a can of red paint, and what  looked like a doll.  I knew how I could prove myself innocent.
