The Tomb of Treasures

I was starting to get bored of following the tour guide around the outside of the pyramids, so I ran inside.
The first thing I saw was a wall covered in hieroglyphics with a door behind it.  I decoded the message using a translator the tour guide gave me, and immediately became curious.  The hieroglyphics translated to:  Beware! Those who enter this tomb never come out alive!
Instead of "entering" the tomb, I opened the door and saw a huge pile of gold, jewels, and treasure chests.  I imagined what it would be like to have all I could see and sprinted over to take some.
The door slammed shut and suddenly the roof began to collapse...

A Scary Situation

I glanced nervously at the airplane as I locked my violin case and ran towards the boarding gate.  I was going to Yellowknife to play at my first violin concert, and if I did  not hurry up, I would be late.
It was my first time on a plane because I was afraid of heights, so as I sat down, I was nervous.  The plane shook violently as it took off.  Confused, I looked at the person beside me and asked if planes always do that.
She said no and leaned over to look out the window.  The plane swept over a tall tree and began to shake.   I was regretting that I had eaten a sandwich before boarding....

The Whistle

"Attention!  Attention! All prisoners get ready for inspection!" the guard demanded, blowing his whistle.
One of the prisoners mumbled and the guard turned to him.  "What did you say?"
" How did you get that? I thought they locked it up." the prisoner looked shocked and her cellmate laughed.
"What do you mean locked up?' the guard asked nervously.
"Didn't you hear? That whistle was used by the worlds deadliest man. He disguised himself as a soccer coach and when he blew it, all the kids would disappear."
"This is just another whistle, probably like the one that man in your story used."
There was laughter among the prisoners and suddenly, a whistle blew and everyone disappeared. The guard saw the shadow of a man, and ran out of the prison.

The Man At the Airport

There is a statue in an airport without a plaque, but even without a plaque, it has a huge message.  It is for a World War 1 Veteran who saved hundreds of lives.
His story was that he was waiting for his plane when enemy soldiers burst out of nowhere, shooting from all angles.  He dove under a nearby bench and loaded his gun.  Innocent people were everywhere.  Trying to find an escape route, he screamed, "BOMB!"
Everyone ducked except the enemy, who ran around looking for the bomb, even though there was none.
Just then, the plane came, and the innocent people sprinted up the ramp, leaving the enemy clueless.
The man died at the airport because he was the last to board the plane and got shot  running up the ramp.  He could not read, so when the grateful people made a statue in his honor, they did not write anything.
